SRINAGAR, 2 APR[NEWSEYE]: In a bid to prevent academic delays, Education Minister Sakeena Itoo has instructed the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) to declare Class 10th, 11th, and 12th results by the end of April.
Chairing a high-level meeting to review JKBOSE’s functioning, Itoo emphasized the need for modernization and IT-based interventions to streamline operations. She stressed the importance of inclusive education, particularly for Children With Special Needs (CWSN), and reiterated the implementation of a 5% relaxation in pass percentage for CWSN students along with other special provisions.
“We are committed to ensuring a seamless academic experience for students. Timely results are crucial for their future planning and we hope to declare bose results by April end, and we are taking all necessary steps to enhance efficiency in the system,” EDU Min Sakeena Itoo said.
The minister also urged JKBOSE to work in close coordination with education directors to enhance the overall education sector in J&K. Officials from JKBOSE presented a report on IT advancements aimed at improving efficiency in conducting examinations and processing results.(NewsEye)
