Srinagar, September 26: The Directorate of Admissions, Cluster University of Srinagar (CUS), has announced on-spot admissions for vacant seats in various two-year postgraduate programmes and the Innovative FYUGP: DYD programme for the academic session 2026-27.

According to an admission notice issued by the university, the physical counselling and on-spot admission process will be conducted from September 26 to September 30, 2026, at the Admission Sections of the concerned constituent colleges.

The on-spot admission process will cover several programmes, including Commerce, Business Administration, Political Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, Music, Computer Application, Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, English, Education and Data Science.

The counselling for Journalism and Mass Communication, Music and Computer Application will be held at Government College for Women (GCW), M.A. Road, Srinagar, while other programmes will be handled at designated colleges including AAAMDC Bemina, S.P. College, A.S. College, IASE and the CUS Main Campus.

The university said admissions will be made strictly on the basis of prescribed eligibility criteria and academic merit, subject to the availability of vacant seats. Candidates are required to appear for counselling with their original documents, testimonials and a self-attested photocopy of the relevant documents.

The notice further states that candidates who fail to attend counselling on their scheduled date and time will forfeit their admission claim. Priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to merit and eligibility.

For the Innovative FYUGP: DYD programme, admissions will be conducted at A.S. College, Srinagar, with students eligible to move into the second year from the third semester onwards in Commerce and Computer Application.
