Four non-local persons were Monday brought to SMHS Hospital Srinagar after allegedly suffering suffocation inside a rented accommodation in the Sara kadal area of the city, officials said.

According to officials, the individuals were found in an unconscious condition following the suspected suffocation incident and were immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Hospital sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that all four patients are currently stable and undergoing treatment. Their condition is stated to be out of danger.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the suffocation. Further details are awaited.—(KNC)
