Two persons from outside Jammu and Kashmir were found dead at separate locations in Srinagar on Friday, officials said.

A 53-year-old woman from Gujarat was found unconscious inside a hotel room in the Rajbagh area. She was immediately rushed to Khyber Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. She has been identified as Jyoti, wife of Baroot Sailesh, a resident of Gujarat.

In another incident, a 51-year-old labourer from Kerala was found unconscious inside his room at a cement factory in the Khanmoh area of Srinagar. He was shifted to a nearby hospital, where he was also declared dead on arrival. The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Kumar, son of Rajvan M, a resident of Kerala.

Officials said the exact causes of both deaths were not immediately known, and investigations have been taken up in both cases
