In a tragic loss to the journalistic community, senior journalist Tariq Ahmad Bhat jammu & Kashmir Bureau Chief of The Week magazine and founder of NewsEye has passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.

With decades of impactful reporting to his name, Bhat was widely respected for his credibility, integrity, and deep understanding of Jammu and Kashmir’s socio-political landscape.
