In a major relief for Haj pilgrims from Jammu & Kashmir, the J&K Haj Committee has resumed chartered flights from Srinagar after a brief suspension caused by the recent India-Pakistan tensions that led to a temporary shutdown of airports across the region.
As per the fresh notification issued today by Dr. Shujaat Ahmad Qureshi (JKAS), Executive Officer, the revised flight schedule for pilgrims departing on May 14, 2025, has been released, replacing the earlier communication dated May 10.
Flight Schedule & Reporting Time at Haj House, Bemina – May 14:
Flight SG-5114 – Reporting Time: 6:00 to 6:30 AM
Flight SG-5214 – Reporting Time: 9:00 to 9:30 AM
Pilgrims are instructed to report on time at Haj House, Bemina, Srinagar, and ensure their luggage complies with airline regulations.
“Only standard baggage will be accepted. Banned items in check-in luggage will not be permitted,” the notification reads.
The Committee assured that the schedule for the remaining batches of pilgrims will be shared separately in the coming days.
This fresh development comes after days of uncertainty for hundreds of pilgrims, as air operations were halted due to escalating border tensions between India and Pakistan, disrupting planned Haj travel from the Valley.
