MC Bandipora Bans Sale of Uncovered Meat and Cheese in Town

Bandipora, Mar 18: Municipal Council Bandipora has prohibited the sale of uncovered cheese and meat in Bandipora Town to safeguard public health.

In an order, a copy of which lies with the Srinagar-based news agency NewsEye, it reads, “all meat shop owners and cheese sellers in Bandipora Town are hereby directed not to sell uncovered meat and cheese within the town limits.”

The council has instructed sellers to properly cover meat and cheese inside their shops and to refrain from hanging raw meat outside.–(NewsEye)
