Srinagar, Mar 09 Following massive outrage from politicians, religious scholars, and locals, Elle India has deleted its video of the controversial semi-nude fashion show held in Gulmarg during Ramadan.

The video, which showcased models in revealing outfits amid the holy month, drew sharp criticism after which the video was deleted.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Aga Ruhullah, and Sajad Lone were among those who condemned the event, calling it a disrespect to cultural and religious values.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah sought a detailed report within 24 hours, promising strict action. Meanwhile, authorities have launched an investigation into the event, with tourism officials under scrutiny.
