Omar Seeks Probe into Kathua, Sopore Incidents Meets with HM

Ganderbal, Feb 12 (KNO): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said that he discussed Kathua and Sopore incidents with Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his recent meeting with him in New Delhi.

After meeting the fire-affected family at Beehama here in Central Kashmir the Chief Minister as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that his meeting with the Home Minister went well. “Multiple issues, including Kathua and Sopore incidents, were discussed.

We have sought transparent probe into both the cases. We are hopeful that those involved in these incidents will be dealt with strictly,” he said.

“We discussed restoration of J&K’s Statehood and also the upcoming Budget Session of J&K Assembly,” he said—(KNO)
